The Steinbeis-Innovation Centre "European Projects" is a non profit making institution within the network of the german Steinbeis-Foundation (www.stw.de) and specializes in intercultural projects in the field of lifelong learning, including vocational training and formal and non-formal education.

Under the reference ID 2007-DE-66 the Innovation Centre is officially accredited as a coordinating organisation within the EU support programme "Youth in Action" and its sub-program "European Voluntary Service"

In cooperation with the Educational and Counceling Center for the Hearing Impaired at Stegen in south west Germany (www.bbzstegen.de) we are running an exchange project financed by the European Commission to enable aurally handicapped people to take part in this programme.

For further development we are looking for partner organisations from all over Europe to set up a europewide network to give hard of hearing and deaf people the chance to participate in european exchange activities.
